80 km from Toulouse, 15 km from Saint-Gaudens, capital of Comminges, the Maison des 3 Chouettes welcomes you to the charming village of Sepx, bordering Castillon-de-Saint-Martory, in the heart of the Petites Pyrénées.

Our 3 bedrooms, our suite, the garden and the swimming pool will offer you peace and a southern exposure with a panoramic view of the Pyrenees range. The land of 4000 m² with its pond and its orchard will allow you to rest and enjoy the landscape.

OUR HISTORY

Former Commingeoise farmhouse, the house was completely renovated in 2020 to offer you all the comfort of completely independent rooms, each with its own bathroom and WC. It was while starting the major renovation work that a brood of Barn Owls was discovered, 3 small white balls in the warmth of an old partition.

A makeshift nest was made for them in the shelter of the construction site and they remained there until they were strong enough, fed by their parents whom we never saw, to fly on their own and leave. the nest on a beautiful morning in the summer of 2020...

"La Maison des 3 Chouettes" was born!

After the nesting season, the majority of the young disperse within 20 km of the place of birth and it is common for them to take up residence there for the rest of their lives. We have seen them at least twice since then, be careful and maybe you will have the chance to meet these beautiful white ladies, princesses of the night. To date, there would remain in France between 20,000 and 50,000 pairs.


ABOUT US

Originally from Bordeaux and having lived half of her life in Normandy to end up in Occitania, the Maison des 3 Chouettes and its rooms are a reflection of Carole's story. For Éric, Norman by birth - and Commingeois by adoption - the Pyrenees have become his favorite terrain for cycling. Supervisor of the works, he accompanies Carole in this project.
